Shows
Shows take place at various venues around Torbay and South Devon, occaisionally further afield. For locations of shows please check our Show Dates & Tickets page.
Rehearsal & Auditions venue
We rehearse at the Chestnut Community Centre on Wednesday evenings 6.30pm - 9/ 9.30pm, and Sunday afternoons 12.30 - 5pm. The address is 1-3 Poplar Close, Chestnut Community Centre, Brixham, TQ5 0SA.
This is our rehearsal venue, so that we do not rehearse at committee members private homes.
There may be occasional extra rehearsals at alternate venues for specific "extra" shows that have been requested and fall outside our planned scheduling. These may take place at alternative venues due to community centre venue bookings, but if this affects cast members, they will be informed.
Film productions will take place on location around Devon and Cornwall, although main rehearsals, and sessions such as stunt training, also take place at the centre.

The nearest bus route from Brixham Town centre is the Stagecoach Number 18 or 18A.
We have a space for rehearsals, facilities for making teas and coffees, toilets, and free car-parking outside. Wheelchair access is also available.
The requests from the "in charges" are simply this:
-> to make sure that at the end of each rehearsals, chairs are put back, bins emptied, cups washed and put away, and the place is left clean and tidy (and locked). This is something that ALL attendees will be asked to help with. Basically, please respect the centre, and leave it in a suitable condition for the other groups which use it.
