Placements and work experience
About what we can offer
We welcome students and anyone who wants to gain experience in theatre production. Anyone getting involved should be aged over 16 (to the sky's the limit) and able to attend our rehearsals and meetings in Brixham. Placements will involved working on specific theatre shows in either the rehearsal or show run, and unless otherwise formally agreed, will be on a strictly voluntary basis. We are happy for students to get involved either for a fixed number of rehearsals, or for an entire show run. We may also be able to offer technical mentorship via our venue partners. Specific shows may have a specific set of tasks, but common areas that we can offer placements in, include: * costuming * photography & video * props making * stage crewing * lighting and sound Anyone involved gets full references, photos and/ or videos evidencing their involvement, and we are happy to discuss anything else needed. Times available at rehearsals usually are Wednesdays 6.30pm-9.30pm Sundays 12.30pm - 4.30pm Show dates and times will vary. |
