Kingskerswell Village Hall, is a wonderful hidden gem -  with a small but fully functional theatre stage. At this venue, members of our theatre company touring team will also be welcoming audience members to attend
Accessibility

Buying tickets:  Tickets for shows by the South Devon Players here, can be purchased online from our box office, or can be bought on the door before the performance. 

Access to the auditorium: The auditorium is on the ground floor, this can be accessed by steps from the front carpark

Wheelchair / mobility access: There are four steps up to the front door. Unfortunately, this venue does not have a wheelchair ramp. 

Toilets: There are toilets available by the stage on the right hand side from the audience, which is also shared by the show cast, and another at the back of the auditorium, by the door.

Assistance dogs: Assistant dogs are welcome. 

Viewing the stage: The stage is raised, the seating is on one level but the raised stage a clear view can be obtained by all

Seats: The village hall has plastic seats that are put out for shows. It is suggested that you bring a cushion.

Refreshments: There is a small kitchen which serves soft drinks, teas, and coffees, along with biscuits. The venue does not serve alcohol. 

Hearing loops: These are not available at this venue. 

Smoking: ​the village hall does not permit smoking within the building, however audience members who wish to smoke in the interval often do so near the pillar box by the front entrance. 


Local travel

Bus stop: The nearest bus stops are the one for the 12 to Newton Abbot, Brixham, Paignton & Torquay, This is ap[proximately 5 minutes walk away.

Train station: The nearest train station is in Newton Abbot. To connect to Kingskerswell, it is then advised to connect with the 12 bus.

Car park: There is limited carparking outside the village hall, and we will also be discussing with the NHS centre over the road, about using their car park for audience
