The South Devon Players secretary, Laura, was lucky enough to source some original Victorian and early 20th Century postcards of Brixham.
Brixham, a busy fishing seaport on the south Devon coast, sheltered by Berry Head, is here shown, in early photographs and artwork of the harbour and her fishing boats - yes and a pleasure cruise.
Amazing that while the fishing boats may have changed, (other than those preserved in the towns Heritage fleet), that the town looks much the same as it did over 100 years ago!
