As well as theatre shows and streaming, we also love to do themed photoshoots - usually in collaboration with other local organisations. Today several of our team had an absolutely wonderful afternoon working with the Vigilance of Brixham a stunning old fishing trawler that is currently being renovated, to recreate olden late 1800s/early 1900s photos on board, such as you would have seen from the time that the Vigilance was built. This shoot was one of our collaborations with Paignton Photographic Club with Tracey Hodges and Chris Vicenti. There are lots of photos to edit up, which will be used by our actors, the Vigilance, and the photographic club. Over the next week or two there will be lots of beautiful photos - but here is a quick look behind the scenes! And look at the wonderful feedback from the photographers! And - many thanks to The Prince William, Brixham for accomodating us all coming in for coffee afterwards! There are already discussions about the next themed photoshoots, to which local photographers will be invited, and our actors/ crew as models.

Well we have had a fabulous day of productivity. A great rehearsal for the Great Gale of Brixham 1866, and our youngsters in the team got to do some product modelling of children's books for a local author. (check out her books at cazgreenham.com)
This is an overview of some of the characters who appear in 1307. Some of our cast play more than one character and therefore the character cards focus on just one of those characters.
Our casting agency is now re-launched, and ready to hit the ground running. We have found that over the years we often get approached for external castings, for all manner of projects, from student films to large international productions, and the idea to create our casting agency formed from that, in line with our group ethos, of making opportunities for local actors who otherwise might not have so many chances to get noticed, and build a career (after all, our group was formed because of just that lack of opportunity, so we decided to put on our own work). We have decided to take a strict line with the agency; not anybody can join, only those performers with us who have performed with us recently, and reliably, with not only excellent acting skills, but also excellent professional behaviour "behind the scenes" as well (timekeeping, teamwork, reliability, etc). Once someone has proven themselves on our in-house productions, then they are eligible to join the agency if they so wish. Unlike many agencies, we dont charge a fee. If an actor gets paid work through the agency, and they are happy to do so, we simply ask that they consider a completely optional donation back into our running costs. Today, we begin to advertise. Some of our team are still sorting out their information for the page, and several more people look to be invited to join at the close of our winter Cabaret show (see the box office page if you want to come and see that!) So, if you are seeking to cast for theatre, film, modeling or voice overs, please get in touch with us! The page for the agency is here LINK As well as in-house acting etc, our members also work on external projects, as actors, models, etc. Today Rich Sandford and Laura Jay were modeling for a photoshoot with internationally published photographer Clive Figes of Sigma Studios, and CJ Ware - these are a couple of images which we are able to share from the shoot. A truly fantastic day.
